INFP is waiting for the Researchers Night on September 27, 2019

The National Institute of Research and Development for Earth Physics, as co-organizer, invites you to "Researchers Night" to meet the fascinating world of research, science, Friday, September 27, 2019. The event will take place between 5:00 pm and 22:00, in the Children`s World Park in Bucharest, the entrance from Tineretului Boulevard, to the right of the National Children`s Palace.

The researchers night is an event full of adventures to knowledge where you will discover your passions and you will find out how interesting is the activity in the field of research.

We address students, students, parents, creative minds, curious, eager to decipher the mysteries of science. We offer a variety of scientific and educational activities, exhibitions, experiments and demonstrations that will provoke your interest.

You will be able to discuss and find out from our researchers and specialists what an earthquake is, about the movements of buildings during earthquakes and whether there are earthquakes on other planets.

On the last Friday of September, the event takes place simultaneously in 6 locations in Romania, namely Bucharest, Craiova, Sibiu, Timisoara, Cluj-Napoca and Iasi.

The European Researchers Night is an event that takes place annually in over 350 cities in Europe, with the support of the European Commission, bringing science to the public. The theme of the year 2019 is "Handle with Science" / "Treat with science", an urge to use the "scientific mind" in the face of the challenges of today`s society - pseudoscience, fake news, inflexible ideologies.

Besides the INFP will be the other organizers involved in carrying out this event: the University of Bucharest, the Institute of Atomic Physics, ELI - NP, the National Research and Development Institute for Laser Physics, Plasma and Radiation, the National Research and Development Institute for Physics and "Horia Hulubei" Nuclear Engineering, Institute of Space Sciences, National Institute for Research and Development for Materials Physics and National Institute of Research and Development for Optoelectronics.
