Developed as part of a national project, MOBEE (Mobile Earthquake Exhibition) presents to the general public the most important and up-to-date information about earthquakes, in an accessible and attractive form. MOBEE is easy to transport and uses 3D models and interactive digital applications to illustrate an itinerant journey - from the causes to the effects of earthquakes and what can we do to reduce seismic risk.
MOBEE can be:
- viewed at science events (e.g. Researcher's Night, Sci-Fi Fest, Research Exposition), at risk awareness events (e.g. Civil Protection Day) or as temporary exhibition in museums or other facilities (e.g. Geological Museum, Delphinarium, malls);
- virtually visited, using an application with online tour functionalities, accessible free of charge on the project website;
- installed at the headquarters of an institution, during an awareness and earthquakes education campaign on seismic risk reduction.
